The bathrooms are cramped and poorly designed!!! The excessive noise from nearby nightlife really detracts from comfort!!! Addressing general aging of facilities would go a long way toward improving guest experience!!!

We had a fantastic stay! The room was spacious with charming original features like the rose windows and a comfy bed. The location was perfect for exploring the city and local attractions, and it felt like we were at home. Definitely would recommend!

The location is exceptional, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore local attractions. the lack of on-site parking was frustrating, and the bathroom in our suite felt outdated despite the room's overall cleanliness. Breakfast was a highlight, particularly the fresh meats, but the tea options could be improved.

The bathroom in my room left a lot to be desired, with visible black mould in the grout and a stained seal on the shower screen. Parking fees were a hassle. paying £10 one night and £14 the next felt excessive for a facility that lacked dedicated parking. I found myself disturbed by noise from guests above, which disrupted relaxation and sleep. The breakfast offered was disappointing, with a limited selection and poorly cooked options that failed to impress. On the whole, while the historic flair is nice, the imperfections were hard to overlook.

We stayed for 2 nights in a spacious king room, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver! Staff were super friendly, and we loved the chill seating areas in reception. The only bummer was the tiny lifts – they struggled with our bags. The bar area looked nice, but we didn't get to check it out!

I loved how close we were to Chester Cathedral and the charming Eastgate Clock, making our walks so enjoyable during our stay, and even though breakfast was a letdown, the staff were pleasant enough to keep the atmosphere friendly.

We enjoyed a lovely evening in our Standard Double Room, although it felt dated. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast provided a nice start, despite being a bit disorganized. Tip, check the parking details beforehand, as multi-storey access can be a hassle on weekends.
